📋 Description

• Own full-cycle recruiting for central roles across engineering, product, sales, and corporate functions, from intake and sourcing through offer and close • Design the entire hiring process, including sourcing strategy, structured interviews and scorecards, interviewer training, offer construction and approvals within Throne’s pay bands, and candidate experience • Select and implement a scalable Applicant Tracking System (ATS) • Use AI tooling, including unlimited Claude access, to automate scheduling, sourcing, and reporting • Partner with Finance, People Operations, Founders, executive team, and hiring managers across disciplines • Co-own the annual hiring plan with Finance and People Operations, including requisition prioritization and assessment of delivery with current resourcing • Own recruiting metrics, including time to fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance, and candidate experience • Report recruiting metrics monthly to the Founders and Finance • Support Operations and Production Managers in reducing time to fill and cost to hire for high-volume field recruiting • Enable field hiring teams with templates, hiring guides, tooling, and coaching • Run senior and executive searches at VP+ and GM levels as Throne expands into new markets • Select and manage retained search firms and agencies where needed • Own the recruiting budget and vendor relationships • Potentially build a talent acquisition team as business needs grow

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, especially for professional and managerial roles • Ability to partner closely with finance and business leaders to connect hiring plans to business outcomes • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and align hiring managers at every level in the organization • Proven track record of recruiting for a variety of positions, including technical roles, sales, and corporate • Experience selecting and implementing an ATS, with no particular preference given to one system • Strong knowledge of compliant hiring practices across multiple states, including but not limited to CA, WA, and NY • Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Can-do attitude and passion for Throne's mission - You ♥️ toilets! • Experience building or scaling a talent acquisition function, ideally as an early or first TA leader at a high-growth company • Experience recruiting for government contractors or public-sector-facing businesses • Experience working with visa sponsorship, such as coordinating with immigration counsel on H-1B, O-1, L-1B, and PERM cases • Experience recruiting for hardware, IoT, or operations-heavy businesses • Must be able to work remotely within the United States • Flexibility to work across timezones to support hiring teams • Employment may be contingent upon Throne’s receipt of an acceptable and job-related drug test, motor vehicle report, and/or background check, as applicable and permissible by law
