📋 Description

• Own complex, high-impact product experiences across cash management, financial wellness, transaction-related tools, and other product areas • Lead end-to-end design from early exploration through launch and iteration • Translate complex financial concepts and workflows into clear, approachable customer experiences • Set a high bar for interaction design, visual design, and overall product quality • Partner with product managers and engineers to define problems, explore possibilities, and make thoughtful tradeoffs • Advocate for customers and design quality in cross-functional conversations • Use research, data, business context, and design judgment to guide decisions • Shape evolving product areas and contribute to broader UI patterns and systems • Present work clearly and build alignment among partners • Contribute to design culture through critique, collaboration, and mentorship • Apply AI-enabled tools thoughtfully to improve the design process • Develop customer, product, and business understanding during the first few months • Establish design as an integral part of product development • Take ownership of the design space and improve customer experience over time

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience designing and shipping complex digital products, ideally in fintech, financial services, commerce, transportation, or another multi-stakeholder environment • Portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking and polished visual and UI execution • Experience owning ambiguous product spaces and advancing work without a fully defined path • Strong interaction-design fundamentals and exceptional attention to detail • Ability to advocate for design while remaining open, collaborative, and pragmatic • Experience working closely with product management and engineering throughout development • Strong communication and storytelling skills, including explaining decisions and bringing partners along • Good judgment about when to challenge assumptions, seek context, or make decisions • Practical familiarity with AI tools and an informed perspective on their use in product design • Nice to have: experience designing consumer financial products such as cash management, banking, budgeting, payments, or financial-wellness tools • Nice to have: experience contributing to or evolving a design system • Nice to have: experience in a product organization undergoing team, process, or strategy change
