📋 Description

• Build and operate the AWS GovCloud environment for federal customers • Design and implement infrastructure-as-code for dedicated environments • Own the container image pipeline for government deployment • Identify and address availability risks and monitoring gaps • Collaborate with assessment partners for FedRAMP documentation • Enable product engineers to enhance features across environments • Define separation of compliance functions from engineering operations • Support federal customers in CMMC environment with escalations and support issues

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in an infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering role in AWS • Hands-on experience with VPC architectures, encryption configurations, and AWS services • Experience with infrastructure-as-code like CDK or Terraform in compliance environments • Understanding of compliance regulated environments and FedRAMP, FISMA, etc. • Knowledge of container image pipelines and hardening • Ability to balance compliance restrictions with engineering usability • Strong writing skills for tech plans, runbooks, and documentation • Broad knowledge to adapt across stack technologies like Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, and Kubernetes.
