• Manage the day-to-day operations of the funded sales, repair, and rental order pipeline • Ensure funding cases are processed timely and in accordance with third-party criteria • Oversee daily Funding Department operations and compliance with state and federal laws, policies, and regulations • Supervise, train, coach, and mentor staff • Lead the team to meet revenue and forecasting goals • Initiate and monitor action plans when operational targets are not met or performance issues are anticipated • Maintain internal controls over the funded sales pipeline • Monitor funding requests, third-party submissions, authorization approvals, and order processing • Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure policies and procedures are implemented and sustained • Respond to escalated customer, sales staff, and third-party payer issues • Track KPIs and monthly sales goals across the department • Communicate with employees, management, field staff, SLPs, billing and collections personnel, insurance providers, educational or government institutions, clients, and family members • Assist the Director of Funding with initiatives to drive sales growth, reduce cycle time, and improve inter-departmental operations • Provide education on the funding process and communicate funding-related problems and requirement changes to third-party payers • Update funding policies and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor Degree and 5+ years’ experience in funding authorization or supervision preferred • Previous management or leadership experience preferred • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong presentation skills • Interpersonal, collaboration, and teaming skills • Proficiency with MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom • Adaptability and ability to maintain composure under stress • Problem-solving and ability to implement effective solutions • Initiative to drive improvements • Leadership skills to guide teams and foster collaboration and continuous development • Ability to perform multiple functions quickly and effectively while achieving results • Ability to work independently and maintain composure during stressful situations • Ability to support and engage staff remotely/virtually • Ability to lead change • Problem-solving, strategic planning, organization, and technology focus • Ability to see, talk, and hear • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and reach • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds • Ability to work at a desk for prolonged periods • Ability to work in a moderate noise level • Some travel required
