📋 Description

• Advise client transformation, controllership, and shared services leadership on finance and accounting automation and AI • Represent the automation and AI agenda in agency and functional meetings • Challenge process design and recommend standardization, control improvement, or process retirement before automation • Build relationships across the agency network and identify finance opportunities • Identify, qualify, size, and sequence processes across record to report, order to cash, purchase to pay, close and consolidation, intercompany, and management reporting • Quantify current effort and cost, target state, expected benefits, control impact, and payback for candidate processes • Maintain a validated backlog ahead of delivery capacity • Decide with the client what to automate, standardize, or address with agentic solutions • Partner with solution architects and business analysts on UiPath, Microsoft, and ServiceNow automation designs • Set finance and audit acceptance criteria covering segregation of duties, evidence retention, auditability, and control impact • Chair value readouts with client leadership and connect delivered work to measured financial outcomes • Support hypercare, knowledge transfer, and handover • Identify and shape adjacent opportunities such as internal audit and controls testing, HR operations, and managed services • Feed reusable finance patterns, benchmarks, and accelerators into TQA’s industry solutions library • Coach TQA and client colleagues on finance domain context • Establish a finance and accounting process landscape and automation pipeline • Maintain a value ledger linking delivered automation and agents to quantified financial benefit

🎯 Requirements

• Twelve or more years in finance and accounting, including significant time in controllership, financial operations, shared services, or finance transformation leadership • Qualified accountant background strongly preferred, for example CPA, CMA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA • Deep, hands-on process knowledge across month-end close and consolidation, intercompany, order to cash and collections, purchase to pay, expense and vendor management, and management reporting • Demonstrated delivery of finance transformation using automation, AI, or agentic solutions, with benefits describable and defensible in numbers • Client-facing or business partnering experience at CFO, controller, and vice president level • Ability to build business cases and value models accepted by finance leaders and verifiable by finance teams • Experience in complex multi-entity, multi-currency environments, ideally with shared services or global business services exposure • Based in the United States • Right to work in the United States • Willingness to travel to client sites occasionally • Finance leadership in marketing, advertising, media, or professional services preferred • Public company reporting experience, including SOX 404 control design and testing and collaboration with internal and external audit preferred • Practical familiarity with UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform and Azure AI, or ServiceNow • Applied understanding of agentic AI in a finance context, including guardrails and human-in-the-loop control • Consulting or professional services delivery experience, including scope discipline, commercial awareness, and account growth • Exposure to finance platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials, Coupa, BlackLine, Workamajig, or Advantage
