• Participate in a 12-week summer internship developing technical, business, leadership, and communication skills • Gain insight into Energy Engineering careers focused on energy-efficient building solutions • Partner with Account Managers and Energy Engineers to diagnose energy opportunities at customer facilities • Provide small energy projects that solve customer issues and opportunities • Perform technical analysis and reviews for energy projects, including project risk assessment • Shadow and perform building walk-throughs to identify architectural, mechanical, and electrical energy conservation measures • Collaborate on reporting capabilities from software and usability perspectives • Investigate new technologies • Prescribe measurement and verification methods for system performance during acquisition • Analyze data outputs for trends and deviations requiring investigation • Assist with technical qualification through Preliminary Audits, Benchmarking, Site Surveys, and Interviews • Collect, analyze, and develop benchmark summary reports on building and system performance • Collaborate with peers across North America • Potentially join the Graduate Training Program after graduation
• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the entire duration of the summer internship • Preferred disciplines: Energy, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • Completed at least sophomore year or 2nd year before the start of the summer internship • U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future • Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months • Ability to provide proof of insurance • No major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI in the previous 3 years, hit and run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years • Safety Sensitive designation may require additional drug screening
