📋 Description

• Lead a strategic and growing segment of the portfolio for the North America Data center business unit • Understand market trends, customer needs, portfolio gaps and the competitive landscape • Initiate new offerings through engineering development and production • Manage potential sourced product relationships • Define product strategy and lead cross-functional teams internally and with sourced partners • Manage product life cycles and multi-generational product plans • Lead new product development programs, commercialization, customer research and go-to-market strategy • Meet or exceed revenue growth targets, maintain or grow market share, and expand margin • Contribute to the Data Center Product Management team and expand Trane’s presence in the Data Center vertical • Lead a Product Growth Team managing the Hydronic Solutions segment • Explore new technologies in the evolving Data Center ecosystem • Evaluate Make vs Buy decisions and M&A acquisition/partnership opportunities • Lead product line strategy, long-range planning, P&L and annual operating plan • Develop and execute channel strategy to grow market coverage and closure rate • Manage product line and strategic supplier needs and identify profitable growth opportunities • Develop and execute multigenerational product plans covering positioning, pricing, cost, margins and customer value proposition • Align product strategy with peer portfolio roadmaps and broader system, services and contracting initiatives • Define customer Critical to Quality specifications for product lines and associated systems • Initiate and support business cases for new product development • Create and execute marketing and commercialization for new offerings and product enhancements with strategic suppliers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business and/or equivalent • 5+ years of experience in product management, new product development, or strategic marketing • Knowledge in liquid cooling, heat rejection, HVAC systems, data centers and IT equipment is a plus • Strong financial literacy and technical proficiency • Strong planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal skills • Comfort presenting technical or commercial topics to audiences of all sizes • Attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture • Multicultural approach and comfort working with diverse cultures and mind-sets • Comfortable working with teammates in different time zones/regions • Total customer service focus with attention to quality • Ability to travel 25% for customer engagement and team meetings
