📋 Description

• Translate documents from English into Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) • Proofread translated documents • Create and finalize translation deliverables before they go to the client • Translate and proofread documents for clients in the Investment Banking sector • Work under the guidance of a manager • Collaborate with Project Managers • Complete translation and proofreading tests to demonstrate skills • Provide relevant translation and proofreading experience in the CV

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) • Specialized in Investment Banking, specifically Market Commentary • Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines • Asian time zone preferred • Must sign a confidentiality agreement • Must complete Translation and Proofreading tests • Must undergo a background check • Latest CV required • CV must include relevant Translation and Proofreading experience • CV must include proposed best Translation per word rate and Proofreading hourly rate in USD • One of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree with significant translation training from a recognized higher education institution; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
