• Deliver efficient external and internal services to all regions and Business Units across North America • Work closely with leadership teams to understand operational and product needs • Implement operating rhythms and enable process improvements • Monitor the health of overall business operations cadence • Inspire a shared vision and steward company values • Use data to establish baselines for team action • Foster positive workplace relationships and develop self-directed employees • Promote intentional collaboration and provide meaning and direction to team work • Listen actively to understand and solve team challenges • Measure and report team efforts and successes to stakeholders • Enable customer-centric service, maintain accountability, and remove roadblocks • Create a positive and productive work environment • Define and deliver the purpose, requirements, and desired results of company and departmental programs affecting Operations • Attract, retain, and develop leaders and managers aligned with CTM values and culture • Provide leadership and guidance, prioritize and assign projects • Anticipate obstacles, develop solutions, and communicate them to project stakeholders • Oversee standards for key initiatives and partner with counterparts to grow key concepts • Use internal customer feedback to build quantified business cases for upstream process improvements • Adjust team priorities and decisions in response to changing business demands and information • Manage direct and/or indirect reports, including hiring, training, coaching, feedback, development, and performance management • Model core values and provide ongoing feedback and growth support • Drive employee engagement and improve team and organizational culture
• At least 10 years’ experience in TMC operations, with minimum 3 years in a director role • Strong commercial acumen and technical process knowledge, including fares and ticketing • Front reservation and mid office systems knowledge essential • Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing business process improvement and change management • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels • Proven leadership and teamwork skills • Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and enhancing efficient business processes • Strong customer focus, with travel industry experience essential • High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth, and pressure • Positive persuasiveness and influencing ability • Results orientation and deadline driven • Judgement and decision making • Flexibility and adaptability • Leadership and oral communication • Relationship building • Embrace CTM’s core values of Connect, Deliver and Evolve • Professional, collaborative and supportive interaction with employees, clients, suppliers and vendors • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Appropriate and professional written and verbal communication • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize simultaneous requests • Creative and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and consultative skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to do basic math • Ability to read and interpret information • Attention to detail • Regular and reliable attendance
