📋 Description
• Assist borrowers by negotiating and monitoring repayment arrangements • Provide detailed information about repayment programs and options • Analyze borrower eligibility for federal programs • Counsel borrowers on repayment importance and consequences of non-payment • Respond to borrower and employer correspondence • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies • Monitor accounts to ensure repayment initiation as agreed
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent • Preferred: Some college, up to or including an associate degree • 2 years office experience in loan servicing, collections, customer service, customer contact center, financial services, or student loan environment • Strong communication, numerical, analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills • Microsoft Office product proficiency. • Intermediate software utilization and capability to interpret repayment options and federal/state laws.
