• Support the Regional Director, Grants & Community Investments, with day-to-day operational, research, writing, coordination, and grant portfolio functions. • Manage an online colleague grant request system containing project owners, request summaries, project costs, grant amounts, preliminary budgets, and leader approvals. • Summarize funder requirements, including deadlines, eligibility, documents, grant dollar ranges, payment structures, matching requirements, use-of-funds restrictions, and reporting. • Develop and manage a grant tracking system for opportunities, incoming requests, project priorities, acceptance routing, grants in development, and submitted/pending grants. • Develop and manage grants financial summaries covering awards, grant cycles, payments, drawdowns, invoices, proofs of payment, and fund balances. • Develop and manage a file library of grant-related documents. • Conduct co-research to identify grant opportunities. • Develop support relationships with external and internal grants-process partners, including grantors and program/project owners. • Coordinate and assemble all non-narrative components of grant submissions. • Coordinate amendments and changes, including budget revisions, scope adjustments, and timeline extensions. • Flag compliance risks. • Coordinate timely collection of reporting requirements and draft reports for submission. • Partner with finance teams, program directors, community partners, and leadership to ensure documentation accuracy, compliance with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), grant stewardship, and advancement of the THMA & Maryland Region strategic plan.
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public health, nonprofit management, business, healthcare administration, or a related field required. • Master’s degree preferred. • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. • 3–5 years of grant development and management experience, including demonstrated success securing and managing awards. • Strong writing, editing, analytical, and project management skills. • Experience preparing grant budgets, financial reports, and compliance documentation. • Knowledge of federal and state grant processes. • Familiarity with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) preferred. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across local and regional functions. • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, integrity, and mission-driven work.
