📋 Description

• Uses specialized knowledge to support key areas of the organization • Uses data, research analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to support strategic objectives • Serves as a peer influencer and may direct a project or project team • Schedules complex facility-based ancillary testing across multiple facilities and states • Schedules for multiple facilities with significant protocol variations • Handles pre-registration, scheduling, electronic insurance eligibility verification, and patient financial responsibility identification and collection • Handles complex scheduled events, including high-dollar testing and associated studies • Communicates with service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service • Initiates the overall patient experience and billing process for hospital services

🎯 Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of multiple scheduling systems • Demonstrated proficiency in complex diagnostic testing appointment scheduling processes • Minimum of five plus (5) years of scheduling experience in an acute care setting • High School Diploma or equivalent • Two (2) to Five (5) years experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access • National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire • Proficiency in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and related software systems
