📋 Description

• Develop and expand relationships with DOD clients, including USACE, the Department of the Navy, and the Department of the Air Force, and DOI clients, including BLM, NPS, USFWS, and BIA, to identify and pursue new opportunities. • Lead capture strategy for major pursuits and contribute to teaming, technical strategy, proposal development, interviews, and presentations for federal MATOC/SATOC and task-order procurements. • Build relationships with prime contractors, teaming partners, small businesses, and specialized subcontractors. • Develop and execute account and market strategies supporting sales, backlog, and revenue growth objectives for the Federal Environmental Practice. • Lead complex CERCLA and RCRA investigation, decision-document, remediation, and compliance programs, including PA/SI, RI/FS, RD/RA, RFI, CMS, and CMI activities. • Provide senior review and technical direction to ensure project plans, reports, field approaches, and deliverables meet contractual, regulatory, technical, and quality requirements. • Maintain accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, client satisfaction, risk management, and project profitability. • Serve as a trusted senior advisor to federal clients, installation and facility representatives, regulators, teaming partners, and other stakeholders. • Mentor engineers, geologists, scientists, and project managers and help develop future federal environmental leaders.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible environmental consulting experience, including at least five years leading business development and project delivery for federal clients. • Demonstrated success winning and delivering environmental investigation, remediation, or compliance work for DOD, DOI, EPA, or other federal agencies. • Advanced working knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA processes, environmental investigations, remedy evaluation and implementation, decision documents, and regulatory compliance. • Established professional relationships with federal program managers, contracting organizations, installation and facility representatives, industry partners, and specialized subcontractors, with a demonstrated history of leveraging those relationships to generate and expand business opportunities. • Experience building and managing strategic teaming relationships. • Demonstrated success leading capture strategy, developing technical and management approaches, supporting interviews, and winning federal environmental contracts. • Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client expectations. • Demonstrated experience leading environmental contracts, task orders, or programs involving multi-million-dollar annual workloads. • Experience leading or supporting MATOC/SATOC capture and task-order pursuits. • Active professional credential or certification such as PE, PG, CHMM, or PMP. • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related discipline. • Ability to satisfy applicable federal background screening and installation-access requirements. • Willingness to travel as needed to support clients, pursuits, project delivery, and industry engagement.
