📋 Description

• Drive and manage programs that improve design team health, design efficiency, and design impact • Establish program goals, strategy, operating model, and governance • Navigate ambiguity and align stakeholders • Execute program tactics within defined schedule, budget, and quality parameters • Identify issues and drive them to resolution • Connect related programs, teams, and partners and engage stakeholders for mutual success • Plan and facilitate meetings and create key communications • Design and lead design sprints for user-facing products and internal programs and services • Coach and support design team members on prioritization, level-of-effort estimating, asset management, and knowledge sharing • Design and implement improved ways of working using design thinking methods • Design, document, and share DesignOps best practices and resources • Champion DesignOps growth across Autodesk

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience • 4+ years design program management experience within a software environment, ideally at a software company • Familiarity with user-centered design practices, UX tools and techniques, and software development methods, primarily Agile • Strong track record in establishing and managing programs and completing significant initiatives successfully • Experience leading design sprints and workshops • Excellent project management skills • Fluency with the SDLC and experience working with cross-functional teams to improve it • Solid foundation in AI and experience helping designers improve their AI fluency • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest AI features/tools for designers • Strong writing, reporting, and documentation skills • Strong verbal and presentation skills • Ability to travel when needed, likely 10% or less
