📋 Description

• Lead collections strategy initiatives from opportunity identification through design, testing, launch, and ongoing optimization • Determine contact timing, frequency, treatment sequencing, and segmentation across email, SMS/MMS, outbound dialing, and digital self-service channels • Translate strategic concepts into actionable business requirements and business cases for Product, Engineering, and Operations teams • Partner with Data Science, Client Management, Contact Center Operations, Product, Legal, and Compliance • Move initiatives into production without relying on formal authority • Monitor delivery, engagement, payment conversion, and payment plan break rates • Improve client scorecard performance and recovery outcomes • Utilize AI tools for hypothesis development, research, and strategy design • Build repeatable testing frameworks • Report to the Senior Director of Business Planning

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in consumer finance or lending • 5+ years specializing in consumer debt collections and collections strategy • Deep understanding of collection levers • Proven track record of improving recovery metrics through channel optimization and segmentation • Ability to frame complex problems and build evidence-based business cases • Working knowledge of FDCPA, Regulation F, and TCPA • Familiarity with champion/challenger testing • Familiarity with SQL/BI platforms, including Looker and Tableau • Familiarity with Jira • Ability to work outside standard business hours when necessary • Occasional local or international travel may be necessary • Reliable internet connection and professional work environment • Ability to protect confidential information while working outside a company office
