📋 Description

• Provide best-in-class security services to Trulieve business units within the assigned region • Provide leadership, training, administrative direction, security management, strategic support, and security solutions • Direct and support Area Security Managers and relevant support staff • Manage day-to-day physical security and safety operations across Trulieve locations, guard services, business partners, and vendors • Conduct monthly operational reviews and one-to-one mentorship with each Area Security Manager • Review the Regional Security Plan quarterly • Coordinate with Retail, State Production, Cultivation, and Retail partners on security strategies • Develop regional security norms, policies, rules, communication plans, and threat-awareness processes • Plan, manage, and review complex events and operations to ensure continuity of operations • Track and investigate incidents, provide incident reports and briefings, and deliver after-action recommendations • Manage regional security and safety programs, policies, procedures, and priorities • Coordinate with the National Director of Security to implement departmental vision and objectives • Issue annual security posture, threat, and vision statements • Assist with development of security protocols and guidelines, including access control, visitor management, fire/life safety, event security, incident response, guard operations, technical security solutions, and emergency preparedness • Implement security and threat management programs protecting employees and physical assets • Develop relationships with law enforcement and security partner agencies • Support acquisition of high-quality security talent through vendors and security providers

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent experience • Minimum 5+ years of large-scale corporate security experience required • Law enforcement and military experience included • Government/private sector security management certification preferred • Strong strategic planning skills • Strong presentation skills • Ability to prioritize work and resource deployment • Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies • Solid project management skills with ability to achieve results • Executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills • Demonstrated experience with budget planning and fiscal management • Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalation • Experience with complex problem solving and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong leadership skills • Ability to live in AZ, FL, or PA • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region
