📋 Description

• Transform complex data into actionable business insights that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, customer engagement, and operational excellence • Partner across Retail, Marketing, Finance, Production, Merchandising, and Data & Analytics teams to uncover opportunities and support strategic decision-making • Identify opportunities to drive sales, profitability, and customer retention through data analysis • Analyze customer behavior, shopping patterns, assortment performance, pricing strategies, and promotional effectiveness • Conduct advanced analyses including basket composition, price elasticity, A/B testing, customer segmentation, and forecast performance evaluation • Develop hypotheses and business cases to support strategic initiatives and operational decisions • Create executive-ready presentations communicating trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations • Design, maintain, and improve dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights • Support forecasting, assortment strategy, promotional evaluation, and category reviews • Manage and develop analysts • Establish best practices for data analysis, reporting, and insight generation • Monitor retail, consumer, and cannabis industry trends • Partner with Data & Analytics teams on new data sources, reporting enhancements, and automation opportunities • Improve reporting efficiency and scalability through technology and process optimization

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics or insight roles • Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau • Strong understanding of retail operations, product lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics • Ability to perform sophisticated analysis and modeling on complex datasets • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills • Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment • Flexibility of hours; some nights and weekends required • Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks and drug screening • Must be at least 21 years of age • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass an MVR check • Ability to travel up to 10% of the work schedule • Ability to move throughout the facility, including tight spaces • Ability to communicate and exchange sensitive information accurately • Ability to observe and inspect details at varying ranges • Ability to operate computing devices • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects up to 25 lbs. • Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps, and position oneself at floor level • Visual and auditory acuity with or without aids • Ability to remain seated frequently
