📋 Description

• Generate new business and help qualified applicants obtain mortgage loans • Collect and analyze loan application documents to determine creditworthiness • Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans • Educate borrowers on available loan products and determine the best fit • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions • Communicate with borrowers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure smooth closings • Manage the client pipeline from lead to closed loan • Assess and grant or reject mortgage applications based on predetermined requirements • Maintain knowledge of local real estate market trends, lending rates, mortgage rules, regulations, and best practices • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with referral partners • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Self-sourced, referral-based production is required; leads are not provided • 1-3 years experience as a Loan Officer • 3+ closed loans/month preferred • NMLS licensure in AZ, CA, CO, KS, MO, NM, and/or OR required • Good time management and organization skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work multiple files simultaneously • Solid understanding of various mortgage programs • Self-starter with a strong desire to grow career and business • Coachable, driven, and motivated to excel in a goal-oriented environment
