📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for user controls, identity, and security across the platform. • Develop and strengthen secure content sharing capabilities, ensuring the right users have access to the right data under the appropriate conditions. • Contribute to Data Studio and related tools that expose platform data to internal and external users. • Work on Dgraph internals when needed while building services and applications on top of Dgraph. • Partner with platform, infrastructure, and integrations teams to maintain consistent identity and security primitives across the ecosystem. • Drive technical decisions around data access patterns, permissions models, and secure sharing architecture. • Write high-quality, well-tested code in Go and Python with a focus on reliability, security, and performance. • Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning for the data platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience in backend or platform engineering. • Strong proficiency in Go and Python. • Experience building identity, access control, permissions, authentication, authorization, or other security-focused systems. • Comfortable working across the full stack, with a strong preference and expertise in backend services. • Experience with graph databases (Dgraph or similar) is highly preferred. • Interest in contributing to database internals is a plus. • Strong understanding of distributed systems, reliability, security, and performance optimization. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing within the United States.
