📋 Description

• Oversee full IT software and hardware asset lifecycles from acquisition to disposal • Implement and maintain IT asset management policies and procedures • Conduct regular audits for compliance with asset management standards • Utilize the CMDB and advance ITAM maturity within the Ivanti ITAM tool • Ensure IT assets comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements • Develop plans with IT leadership to address noncompliance • Partner with the security team to protect IT assets from threats and vulnerabilities • Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and suppliers • Negotiate contracts and interpret licensing terms and requirements • Evaluate vendor effectiveness and address elevated risks • Advise IT leadership and budget owners on vendor licensing models, risks, and trends • Partner with Sourcing and Legal teams on IT vendor intake and negotiation processes • Generate reports on IT asset performance, utilization, and costs • Analyze cost-effectiveness and ROI for IT assets • Provide data-driven recommendations to management using industry insights • Advise on SaaS and AI licensing models, tracking, and costs • Track metrics and KPIs for IT asset management effectiveness • Own complex processes and enterprise initiatives • Lead projects with organization-wide impact and engage with senior leadership • Provide guidance and informal leadership to team members • Travel moderately, less than 5–10%

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of a school/employment or other visa • 5+ years of IT Asset & Vendor Management or related experience • Advanced knowledge of licensing models, compliance frameworks, and lifecycle strategy • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, ROI, and depreciation • Demonstrated experience leading audits and enterprise initiatives • Advanced analytical, reporting, and data storytelling capabilities • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and mentor others
