📋 Description

• Perform IT application implementation, optimization, and support activities • Work on moderately complex to complex applications critical to operations • Work independently with minimal technical guidance • Lead small to medium size complex projects with oversight • Develop detailed understanding of application functionality through collaboration with senior staff, training, and documentation • Collaborate with end users to understand and define requirements • Determine approaches to tailor systems to individual requirements • Build and configure systems using available application tools • Create documentation for custom builds • Develop test scenarios based on requirements • Execute testing and identify issues • Research and resolve application and vendor product issues • Provide input to application implementation event plans • Support application implementation events, including occasional off-hours support • Build enhancements to current functionality • Participate in testing software updates and upgrades • Respond to and resolve user-reported issues • Provide customer service and set expectations for issue resolution • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation, approximately one week per month • Collaborate with vendor support personnel • Participate in vendor user groups and online listservs and review vendor updates • Participate in cross-training as trainer and learner

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of relevant experience OR Associate degree in information technology, finance, clinical field, or related field and six (6) years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in information technology, finance, clinical field, or related field and four (4) years of relevant experience • Skilled at supporting applications in a healthcare environment • Excellent customer service orientation and good communication skills • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities, initiatives, and tasks • Ability to work within a team and succeed in a team environment • Ability to clearly explain findings and answer questions about the work • Ability to communicate complex information in an understandable way • Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and determine meaning • Ability to analyze situations and make decisions based on available information • Ability to identify root causes, develop resolution strategies, improve processes, and develop new methods • Ability to understand organizational needs and meet those needs • Ability to sit frequently, stand and walk occasionally, and lift 5–10 lbs • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard or related equipment • Ability to see computer screens, monitoring equipment, and reports • May be required to travel to a healthcare site or other designated location
