📋 Description

• Manage individual employee leave cases from initiation through closure • Review leave requests, eligibility, accrued leave balances, and documentation • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees throughout the leave process • Coordinate with healthcare providers, legal teams, HR, managers, state agencies, and carriers • Upload documentation to the Massachusetts Department of Family and Medical Leave portal and respond to inquiries • Monitor leave timelines, case progression, extensions, claims, and return-to-work plans • Complete timekeeping and absence records in Workday and/or UKG Timekeeping • Respond to inquiries regarding leave usage, coding, pay, eligibility, and benefits • Maintain accurate leave case records for auditing and reporting • Support smooth employee return-to-work transitions and update return-to-work dates • Escalate complex, overlapping, or accommodation-related cases • Meet service-level agreements for case processing, documentation turnaround, and employee communication

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; OR associate’s degree in a related field AND two years of Human Resources or relevant business experience with at least one year of leave of absence case management experience; OR high school diploma or equivalent AND four years of Human Resources or relevant business experience with at least one year of leave of absence case management experience • At least one year of leave of absence case management experience required for associate-degree and high-school pathways • Knowledge of Leave Administration, HR Operations, HR Service Delivery, Benefits, and HRIS • Familiarity with ADA, FMLA, PFML, Parental Leave, Workers Compensation, and other state/local regulations • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information • Ability to interpret policies, documentation, and eligibility rules • Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple cases in a deadline-driven environment • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel • Ability to work effectively in a changing environment and adjust as regulations evolve
