📋 Description

• Lead a team of estimators providing cost consultancy services for construction projects • Implement best practices for estimating processes and methodologies • Specialize in conceptual estimating and provide expert guidance to team members • Mentor and coach estimators and support their professional development • Report on key performance indicators for the organization and team • Provide estimating advice, guidance, and analysis • Present formal estimating reports covering quantity, cost, escalation, assumptions, and clarifications • Perform cost risk analysis and contribute to value engineering • Negotiate and approve final accounts • Develop white paper market reports for construction cost management • Manage internal systems for purchase orders, invoicing, and risk management • Develop new estimating services aligned with industry standards • Support business development, key client development, and opportunity tracking • Lead bids for estimating scopes of work and present to potential clients • Adhere to applicable SOX control responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction • Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience working in an estimating role in the construction industry • Experience providing conceptual estimating services and/or pre-construction services at a construction management or related firm • Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills • Strong stakeholder management skills • Proven experience leading estimating teams • Expertise in construction estimating, cost planning, benchmarking, and market analysis • Strong understanding of commercial and technical drivers unique to data center construction
