📋 Description

• Create site layouts, feasibility studies, and early-stage design concepts for new and existing EV operations facilities • Produce detailed drawings and documentation for service areas, support spaces, and site infrastructure • Design and coordinate EV charging layouts in compliance with accessibility standards and electrical requirements • Coordinate with engineering, operations, real estate, facilities, and external partners • Manage permitting processes and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards • Create design standards and playbooks for consistent, streamlined project development • Prepare construction documentation and review shop drawings • Support infrastructure planning and real estate strategy through design expertise and technical guidance • Participate in site selection, evaluation, due diligence, and planning • Conduct design reviews and site visits to verify construction alignment with approved plans and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field • Preferably a Licensed Architect • 10+ years of experience in architectural design and pre-construction preferred • Experience in transportation, industrial, or technical facilities ideally preferred • Experience designing EV charging infrastructure and coordinating with electrical systems • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design tools • Strong understanding of building codes (ADA, NEC) and permitting processes • Excellent project management and organizational skills • Strong communication and collaboration abilities across diverse teams • Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to shifting priorities • Experience developing design standards or playbooks for repeatable infrastructure projects • Familiarity with sustainability principles and energy-efficient design strategies
