⢠Manage national and/or regional Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) categories and sub-categories ⢠Identify and engage internal stakeholders to capture category and commodity requirements ⢠Enhance data and ensure supplier qualification and compliance ⢠Develop and execute detailed category strategies ⢠Conduct or support contract negotiations and supplier selection ⢠Deliver category productivity through price, rebates, value analysis, and continuous improvement projects ⢠Support Supplier Relationship Management strategy and quarterly supplier reviews for strategic suppliers ⢠Provide subject matter expertise through direct experience and vendor collaboration ⢠Implement Category Management and SRM strategies for assigned spend groups ⢠Support site buying activities through sourcing agreements and commodity insights ⢠Manage bid and award processes, including supplier identification and negotiation ⢠Establish economic order quantities and evaluate market trends and economics ⢠Communicate agreements with internal and external customers ⢠Establish and maintain a capable, value-driven supply base ⢠Control sourced-material costs through negotiations, agreements, market tests, bulk purchasing, forecasting, compliance management, and data analysis ⢠Provide industry knowledge for assigned category and commodity groupings ⢠Collaborate with Sourcing Managers, Site Managers, Buyers, and management ⢠Travel to various supplier locations as required ⢠Perform other duties as assigned
⢠Minimum five (5) years in a related field, operations, supply chain, or sourcing MRO-related materials ⢠Knowledge of quality assurance philosophies, practices, and techniques ⢠Four-year college degree desired; B.S. technical degree preferred ⢠CPM preferred ⢠Strong negotiation and planning skills ⢠Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision ⢠Strong data analysis skills ⢠Ability to understand vendor contracts ⢠Strong communication skills ⢠Strong interpersonal skills ⢠Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment ⢠Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Access ⢠Ability to travel ⢠Must live in a US state where Turtle has Integrated Supply business
