• Develop and maintain software • Work with a small and collaborative team to whiteboard ideas and build backend services and APIs • Perform thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality • Support production operations, including building, releasing, and assisting with team on-call • Create clear and concise documentation • Help the Comms Engineering team build and maintain a communications platform used by thousands of customers worldwide
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience • Experience with Go or Java • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation • Experience using NoSQL databases like DynamoDB (desired) • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (desired) • Polyglot development across multiple programming languages and frameworks (desired) • Experience with Temporal (desired)
