📋 Description

• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials • Own matters, develop case strategy, and manage full case-handling responsibilities • Develop compelling case themes • Handle discovery, substantive motions, mediations, and trial preparation • Work with experts • Communicate routinely and directly with clients and insurance carriers • Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients • Collaborate with experienced trial attorneys and colleagues • Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys • Work as part of a team across experience levels

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of insurance defense litigation experience • Active Pennsylvania Bar license required • JD from an ABA-approved school • Significant independent case-management experience • Strong discovery, deposition, mediation, and motion practice experience • Experience with general liability, premises liability, trucking/commercial auto, professional liability, construction, medical malpractice, or similar defense matters • Prior billing experience • Experience with time management systems • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to manage full case-handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial • Ability to independently develop strategy and move matters forward with minimal supervision • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills • Professional appearance and demeanor • Strong client and carrier relationships • Pennsylvania and New Jersey dual admission strongly preferred • Trial experience strongly preferred • Collaborative, responsive, and willing to be part of a team
