📋 Description

• Teach asynchronous undergraduate and graduate courses to adult learners • Lead development and improvement of programs, courses, course materials, and innovative teaching practices • Deliver high-quality online instruction, assessment, individualized support, and timely feedback • Chair dissertations and doctoral committees; review research projects and prepare students for oral defenses where applicable • Mentor, supervise, and support associate faculty and faculty/staff • Lead continuous improvement of curriculum, instructional design, program-level assessment, and yearly review cycles • Collaborate with instructional designers, assessment specialists, student support departments, and other university teams • Support student connection, belonging, success initiatives, accreditation, and shared governance • Attend department, college, and university meetings and participate in committees, hiring, and service activities

🎯 Requirements

• Earned terminal degree (CPA) in a discipline aligned with the academic program • For certain programs, professional experience can qualify in lieu of the terminal degree • Three years of online teaching and learning experience, including curriculum development and assessment strategies • Three to five years of practical professional work experience in a relevant field • Ability to create engaging, supportive online learning environments • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with adult learners • Ability to align academic content with workforce needs and industry trends • Skill in educational technology and learning management systems • Ability to interpret student success data and improve teaching and curricular design • Ability to teach graduate courses in Psychopharmacology, Physiological Psychology, and Research Design & Methods • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Applied professional experience in the field preferred • Experience with qualitative or quantitative research preferred • Experience with adult, non-traditional, and post-traditional learners preferred • Three years of undergraduate teaching experience in Health Psychology preferred • Three years of graduate-level teaching experience in psychology preferred
