📋 Description

• Perform accurate code assignments for ED records, including facility and professional-fee coding • Work remotely from a home office • Meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater • Use remote connectivity and office software for communication, meetings, and data management

🎯 Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC certification • Minimum of three years’ experience coding ED records in an acute care setting • Technical competency with remote-based connectivity, including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via smartphone, and video conferencing platforms • Proficiency with office software including Outlook email, calendar, and Excel spreadsheets • Committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance • Ability to meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater • Flexibility, attention to detail, ability to work independently, quality consciousness, and adaptability to change
