📋 Description

• Design and create facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, exercises, coaching guides, blended learning solutions, and e-learning modules • Design knowledge resources for front-line staff • Assess, evaluate, and develop existing and new training programs and materials • Facilitate classroom and virtual training from onboarding through continued development and refresher training • Create client-facing training curricula and schedules • Onboard employees and contingent workers • Develop and deliver standardized system and process training • Travel to other UBC sites and/or client-hosted locations as needed • Evaluate training impact with program participants and management • Review quality and performance records to identify retraining needs • Respond to leadership and quality training requests • Develop, maintain, and update training programs and materials for system or process changes • Deliver customized program training and administer practical exercises • Document and maintain training records and documentation archives • Research, author, publish, and maintain process and related documents using authoring tools • Collaborate with departments, business owners, SMEs, internal clients, and IT on procedures, UAT, system builds, and interactive learning solutions • Support documentation-flow improvements and training-related SOP revisions • Build partnerships with internal and external clients to identify competency and training needs • Deploy and support strategic business initiatives from a learning perspective • Support projects with business partners, Directors, and Managers • Monitor developments in training and instructional design and recommend curriculum modifications • Solve complex problems and provide solutions to difficult technical project issues • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of critical tools and learning requirements • Participate in in-person and virtual meetings and events

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, training, or related field or equivalent work experience • 3–5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree • Operations or business environment experience • Certification in facilitation, adult learning, or project management experience preferred • Ability to motivate employees and provide thought leadership • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a heavy workload • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, prioritization, and multitasking skills • Strong focus on patient and client satisfaction • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and verbal and written communication skills • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proven ability to develop supporting documentation • Understanding of adult learning principles and techniques • Excellent internal and external customer service skills • Experience with e-learning authoring tools, HTML, and knowledge management tools preferred • Experience conducting needs analysis and operations application functionality preferred • Ability to identify customized strategies and tactics for successful training delivery • Ability to problem-solve and think analytically • Ability to travel as needed • Ability to participate actively in in-person and virtual meetings and events
