📋 Description

• Conduct learning needs analysis through intake/scoping calls, workshops, focus groups, and other analysis activities • Define audience profiles, performance objectives, learning objectives, and training insights • Create client-facing reports and presentations • Design strategic instructor-led and multimodality learning solutions, including curriculum maps and course outlines • Map connections, scaffolding, and key themes across programs and courses • Design practical exercises, activities, evaluation plans, and effectiveness measures • Use technology and equipment such as Microsoft Teams features and lab equipment to enhance interactivity • Develop and present solution proposals to clients • Create activity archetypes and playbooks for scalable instructor-led training design and development • Oversee program implementation and coordinate administrators, facilitators, and stakeholders • Identify and mitigate execution risks and error traps • Lead collaborative analysis and design workshops with internal and external stakeholders • Guide project teams on instructional best practices and provide clear handoffs • Gather and implement feedback from peers, stakeholders, clients, subject-matter specialists, and learners • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend continuous improvements • Validate solution appropriateness, business alignment, and technical accuracy • Serve as primary contact for project stakeholders and manage projects through the full project cycle • Create schedules, manage scope, establish review workflows, provide status updates, and maintain version control • Travel occasionally to Chicago, regional offices, and client locations

🎯 Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience as a Curriculum Designer, Training Specialist, Instructional Designer, Performance Consultant, Training Program Manager, or similar position • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, Adult Education, Engineering, or related field • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills • Strong relationship-building skills • Ability to work with templates and adhere to style guidelines • Proficiency in ADDIE, SAT, or performance-based training development models • Ability to independently define systematic approaches to uncovering vague or undefined performance problems and develop solution visions • Experience working with highly technical, complex, regulated content • Experience designing large, multimodality training solutions • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word • No U.S. work authorization sponsorship provided • Portfolio including needs analysis deliverables, solution designs, and evaluation results required with application
