📋 Description

• Define and refine learning objectives • Gather, validate, and refine training content • Translate objectives and source content into course outlines and learning solution proposals • Design evaluation plans and measures to assess training effectiveness • Design activities and practical exercises aligned with learning objectives • Leverage technology and equipment, including MS Teams and lab equipment, to enhance interactivity • Develop presentation decks, facilitator guides and scripts, participant guides, worksheets, job aids, infographics, and assessment questions • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend continuous improvements • Audit existing training materials for content accuracy and standards alignment • Assemble final training packages • Partner with Training Implementation Admins to configure and assign courses in the LMS • Facilitate engaging in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions • Serve as primary point of contact for project stakeholders • Lead assigned projects through the development cycle • Create and manage schedules, workflows, status updates, scope, quick-turn requests, and version control • Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders • Guide project team members on instructional best practices • Gather and implement feedback throughout design, development, and implementation • Coordinate technical-content validation and approval with subject-matter specialists • Travel up to 25% to Chicago, regional offices, and client locations

🎯 Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience as a Training Specialist, Technical Trainer, Instructional Designer, Content Developer, or similar position • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, Adult Education, Engineering, or related field • Strong written communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills • Strong relationship-building skills • Ability to work with templates and adhere to style guidelines • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word • Proficiency facilitating with MS Teams • Proficiency in ADDIE, SAT, or performance-based models of training development • Experience facilitating for in-person, virtual, and hybrid audiences • Experience working with highly technical, complex, regulated content • No U.S. work-authorization sponsorship • Portfolio including work samples of course outlines, PowerPoint presentations, facilitator/participant guides, and practical exercises • Nuclear energy, regulated engineering, or safety-critical environment experience is valued but not required • Graphic design and/or video editing software proficiency is valued but not required
