📋 Description

• Architect, design, and develop sophisticated software systems, with up to 100% coding • Provide day-to-day technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members • Partner with technology leaders to shape technology direction, pattern management, and system consistency • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to align technology delivery with organizational goals • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analyses to maintain system reliability • Collaborate with vendors on estimates, delivery plans, and project timelines • Ensure technological integrity and quality of vendor solutions across concurrent projects • Lead delivery and technical guidance across an application family • Strategize technology optimization and modernization, including technical debt reduction • Identify and implement process improvements • Lead knowledge-sharing efforts for internal and vendor partner expertise • Act as subject matter expert for complex application-environment components • Partner with architects on enterprise-architecture technology decisions • Provide high-level technical expertise across complex technology components • Establish best practices, reusable components, and technology guidelines • Lead incident response and resolution for critical production issues • Undertake special projects and organization-wide initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience • 12–15 years of relevant experience, including at least 3–5 years at a senior level or in a similar principal engineering role • Extensive coding experience with .NET Unified Platform V8 and .NET Framework 4.8 • Experience implementing Pub-Sub and Streaming for event-driven architectures • Preference for Confluent or Red Panda Kafka • Thorough knowledge and application of advanced software-engineering principles, theories, and concepts • Ability to design and implement innovative solutions aligned with complex organizational goals and objectives • Strong customer orientation and ability to convey technical concepts to stakeholders at all organizational levels • In-depth healthcare or PBM industry knowledge preferred • Extensive experience working within a vendor partner model • Flexibility to work outside standard hours for critical project deadlines • Exceptional mentoring and coaching skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to dynamic environments, and meet deadlines • Strong collaborative skills across multidisciplinary project teams • Experience implementing innovative solutions in Java, React, or Go
