📋 Description

• Write risk management documents • Manage operations of assigned risk management projects, epidemiologic studies, and/or registries • Interface with clients and collaborate with scientific leadership and internal UBC groups • Participate in epidemiology, registry, and risk management-related projects • Prepare, design, and write REMS, KAB protocols and surveys, reports, abstracts, and other risk management documents • Participate in internal and client project teams and meetings • Develop observational program protocols • Coordinate project activities and track projects, timelines, tasks, and deliverables • Serve as client point of contact • Provide input to Contracts Management for scope-of-work and budget revisions • Communicate deliverable and milestone completion to Finance for invoicing follow-up • Develop project timelines, schedule meetings, and prepare meeting minutes • Support proposal development, including service descriptions and budgets • Attend client, bid defense, industry, and relevant meetings; present at industry meetings when appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, and/or public health or equivalent • Experience in protocol writing, study design and operations is helpful • Familiarity with clinical trials, drug development and medical and scientific terminology is helpful • Strong written and verbal communication/ interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently, yet function well in a small team environment • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools • Professional, organized, detailed-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, self-motivated and quality driven • Enjoys fast-paced environment and learning about different health-related and research areas • Strong computer skills, including word processing proficiency with tables and figures • May be required to work after business hours and on weekends to ensure critical deadlines are achieved
