📋 Description

• Support the conduct of clinical research from UBC’s home-based Study Coordinating Center • Support participant screening, obtain informed consent, and acquire medical records • Schedule and conduct patient telehealth visits and perform protocol-delegated study procedures • Collect, record, and maintain accurate clinical data in compliance with GCP guidelines • Manage investigational drug logistics, including shipping, storage, accountability, and administration • Coordinate patients’ end-to-end study participation, including nursing visits, telehealth visits, site visits, supplies, samples, and ePRO/eCOA/devices • Prepare reports for the PI, Sub-I, and sponsor • Train and mentor junior study coordinators • Monitor protocol adherence and identify and address deviations • Maintain regulatory compliance and current study documentation • Handle inbound and outbound study-related contacts with patients, healthcare providers, and clients • Retrieve data, address discrepancies, complete follow-up, and document communications • Complete data entry, filing, data confirmation, corrections, and updates in study applications and documents • Report adverse events and escalate issues requiring management attention • Complete study compliance duties, including stakeholder re-education and healthcare provider follow-up • Prepare study reporting materials for client meetings • Provide study-specific oversight of smaller teams of junior study coordinators, if applicable • Perform other duties assigned by management and UBC SOPs

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse or equivalent license in the state of practice • Minimum 2 years of study coordinator experience • Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research ethics • Strong organizational, time management, project management, and communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients • Ability to work a flexible schedule, potentially including 24/7 on-call coverage shifts • Ability to work on complex or multiple programs simultaneously and apply critical thought processing • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing tasks
