📋 Description

• Provide high-quality, direct clinical care for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and provide diagnosis • Deliver evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery • Provide clinical documentation and service delivery through telehealth and digital health tools

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must reside in Hawaii • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program, or Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited program, or Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or equivalent from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program • Current, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the State of Hawaii, or current, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the State of Hawaii, or current, unrestricted Licensed Psychologist license in the State of Hawaii • Completion of an APA-accredited internship for the psychologist pathway • Minimum of 2-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing psychological assessment and psychotherapy for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions • Experience with psychological assessment and testing relevant to addiction and mental health populations is highly desirable • Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to addiction treatment, including CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-focused therapies, and ACT • Strong diagnostic and differential diagnostic skills for mental health and substance use disorders using DSM-5-TR • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, secure telehealth platforms, video software, and other digital health tools • Excellent verbal and written communication, clinical documentation, interpersonal, and collaboration skills • Commitment to patient-centered care, cultural humility, and reducing health disparities • Strong critical thinking skills for complex case conceptualization and treatment planning • Clear, respectful communication and expert consultation with care team members • Understanding of HIPAA regulations, patient confidentiality, and APA ethical principles and code of conduct
