📋 Description

• Support an assigned group of engineers and technicians by providing technical drafting and design support for infrastructure-related designs with limited supervision • Design and develop plans for infrastructure projects • Draw accurate 3D models on a given software platform • Utilize knowledge of design and 3D modeling to provide technical guidance to other technicians • Apply company, client, and project standards and procedures • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members • Use evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Two year technical degree in Technical Drafting or equivalent • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with 3D software programs such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Bentley, Solidworks, Revit, and Sketch up • Experience with graphic design programs such as Adobe Photoshop • Ability to learn and successfully apply company, client and projects standards and procedures • Ability to successfully collaborate and communicate with individuals in a team environment • 10 or more years of infrastructure related experience required • Detailed drafting experience with substation electrical equipment layout, conduit design, grounding design, lighting design, lightning protection design, protection one-line diagrams, schematics and interconnection wiring diagrams using AutoCAD • Thorough understanding of site layout logistics as it can relate to substation equipment layout for efficient drafting and ease of construction • Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus • Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) • Good organization and communication skills to assure projects are completed on schedule • Must be able to work independently • Openness to innovation and ability to apply evolving technology and AI tools • Must have permanent authorization to work in the US
