📋 Description

• Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to complete engineering tasks • Support civil and structural design workflows as needed • Guide and collaborate with junior engineers • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using advanced 2D modeling software • Conduct sediment transport analyses and scour calculations for renewable energy projects • Develop plans, specifications, and observation reports • Perform field investigations and observations to resolve design challenges and information discrepancies • Design and review computations related to stormwater management for renewable projects • Apply value engineering throughout development, design, and construction • Collaborate with business and engineering staff across markets and technical disciplines • Work with clients to understand technical needs and identify feasible solutions • Support marketing, sales, and business development activities • Demonstrate creativity and design ownership

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required • Successful Completion of Civil Professional Engineer (PE) registration, NCEES Council Record is preferred • Minimum of 10-12+ years of civil engineering experience • At least 3-5+ years of experience in water resource design for renewable energy projects strongly preferred • Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic principles and methodologies related to rural and urban drainage • Experience with erosion and sediment control applications • Experience with temporary and permanent stormwater treatment techniques highly desired • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex hydrologic and hydraulic data • Experience performing 2D sediment transport analyses and scour calculations in cohesive and non-cohesive soils preferred • Proficiency in HEC-RAS 2D, FLO-2D, InfoWorks ICM, and ArcGIS software is required • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients • Relevant military experience considered • Ability to work in the United States
