📋 Description

• Interact with sales, marketing, account management, and project management business units • Maintain and grow positive team culture • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and technical services oversight • Create and manage team budgets, including revenue, profitability, and indirect expenses • Coach, train, and develop engineering technical staff • Conduct 1:1 meetings, career development discussions, succession planning, quarterly reviews, promotions, retention activities, and engagement surveys • Manage team resource planning and cross-team/cross-office resourcing collaboration • Make individual performance reviews, annual merit and bonus decisions, and professional development decisions • Support hiring through resume evaluation, technical phone screens, HR collaboration, interviews, and debrief assessments • Lead engineering activities across proposals, design, and construction readiness for renewable energy projects • Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate with project management • Oversee adherence to company standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements • Maintain project budgets, schedules, and scopes, including change orders • Review and approve technical documents and maintain responsible charge • Deliver cost-effective engineering solutions aligned with project goals and long-term performance • Partner with Sales and engineers to promote revenue growth and expand services • Support proposal development and review with Proposal Development and Project Management teams • Maintain and build positive client relationships • Participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Civil or Structural, from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent is highly desired • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or eligibility to obtain one, is preferred • Minimum of 10 years of civil and/or structural engineering design experience • 5+ years in the renewable energy market • At least 2 years in a leadership or management role is preferred • Experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary renewable energy projects from initial design through final design • Ability to balance internal and external stakeholder priorities, timelines, and organizational risk • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, PowerPoint, and Project • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus • Collaborative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for accelerating the clean energy transition • Authorization to permanently work in the US
