📋 Description

• Lead and mentor HVAC field service technicians installing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC systems serving data centers • Develop and implement service protocols and best practices for data center HVAC operations • Ensure compliance with industry standards, governmental regulations, and safety guidelines • Collaborate with data center project managers and stakeholders on preventive maintenance, system failures, and customized solutions • Monitor and optimize inventory so service vehicles have required parts and equipment • Liaise with sales and marketing to develop data center HVAC service strategies • Convey customer experience through the C2 customer complaint system • Support Services sales promotions, tools, and goals • Provide Service Sales feedback on scope definition and cost to perform, and share leads • Provide Service Engineering feedback on technical support quality and availability • Share leads with Sales PM and Service Sales teams • Participate in recruiting activities • Advise supervisors on schedule conflicts, service issues, equipment problems, employee issues, and other job-related issues • Conduct new-hire orientation, field training, and ongoing education • Perform field quality assurance checks • Provide back-office service administration, including timesheet entry, expense report review and approval, and service report creation and review

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of substantial experience in the HVAC industry, with a significant focus on data center environments • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a team of technicians • Deep knowledge of the specific demands and challenges associated with data center HVAC systems • Solid understanding of data center infrastructure and operational protocols • Experience with state-of-the-art monitoring and management systems used in data centers • Excellent problem-solving abilities paired with meticulous attention to detail • Ability to travel at short notice to multiple site locations as necessary • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience is preferred • Familiarity with data center certifications such as CDCMP, CDCP, or equivalent is a plus • Relevant HVAC certifications; EPA Certification strongly preferred • Experience with refrigeration and controls strongly preferred • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams • Clean driving record and willingness to travel frequently to various job sites • Ability to perform medium work, including exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and lift • Close visual acuity for data preparation, computer terminal viewing, and expansive reading • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check, as applicable
