📋 Description

• Support Ulteig's growth in subconsultant partnerships • Oversee and lead transmission line projects executed by subconsultant partners • Ensure projects, deliverables, drawings, and execution meet Ulteig and client quality standards • Support training and development of subconsultant teams on client-specific expectations • Act as technical leader and program manager for a portfolio of subconsultant-executed projects • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work • Provide project oversight, reviews, quality assurance, and training • Coordinate specific design aspects of projects • Plan, schedule, conduct, and communicate work with team members • Provide technical guidance and feedback to engineers and subconsultant partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required • ABET accredited program or equivalent required • PE License strongly preferred • 4+ years of experience in the Transmission Engineering field • Effective leadership and mentoring skills • Oversight, leadership, and quality review of subconsultant engineering design and project scheduling • Excellent verbal and written communications, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Strong client engagement and relationship building skills • Capable of leading transmission line projects with a multidiscipline team from estimating and proposals through project closeout • Capable of reviewing and producing structure framing, plan & profile, load & design, foundation, material specification/order, phasing map, and construction drawings/specifications • Capable of reviewing PLS-CADD models for preliminary, detailed, and record drawing design • Knowledge of NESC and RUS design guide is a plus • Previous experience with major power utility clients is preferred • Ability to manage multiple projects • Proven experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access • Openness to applying evolving technology and AI tools • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards • Ability to travel up to 5% • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
