📋 Description

• Manage Ultimus client relationships, including client satisfaction, retention, contract renewals, profitability, business-change communication, revenue enhancement, and cross-sales opportunities • Understand clients’ future product plans and identify how Ultimus can provide solutions • Drive revenue and client growth with Business Development and Product teams • Establish strategic relationships with industry Centers of Influence and industry groups • Serve occasionally as a subject-matter expert in business development meetings • Align service teams with client expectations and work with senior management peers toward company P&L goals • Manage Relationship Management associates and support their business and personal growth goals • Participate in fund board activities and develop board-level relationships where applicable • Escalate issues and develop resolutions with department and executive management teams • Travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, COI meetings, and firm-related meetings • Review meeting materials and minutes for accuracy • Coordinate board-member education opportunities • Hire, train, develop, assign, evaluate, coach, counsel, and administer corrective actions for department associates • Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings and establish team and individual goals • Serve as liaison with board chairs and lead independent directors • Attend Tier 1 and, where applicable, Tier 2 client board meetings • Conduct regular client executive visits and conference calls • Mentor associates and maintain internal teamwork with department management and service teams • Manage client accounts and action plans focused on satisfaction, communication, service needs, renewals, profitability, and product cross-sales • Perform other duties as required and assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, financial services, or related field • 15+ years of financial services industry experience • Experience in 40 Act products, asset management, asset servicing, business strategy, and/or product strategy development • 7–10 years of management and leadership experience • Equivalent education and experience will be considered • Knowledge of client relationship management • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, executives, and senior management • Ability to develop and implement client action plans and execute company projects • Sound financial judgment and knowledge of the business • Ability to motivate, develop, and train teams • Planning, delegation, multitasking, analytical, organizational, strategic, and critical-thinking skills • Clear and concise written and oral presentation skills • Ability to establish effective working relationships and adapt priorities to changing conditions
