• Develop and maintain academic programs within the Degree Works module • Update individual student academic programs for approved exceptions, waivers, and substitutions • Test and troubleshoot Degree Works enhancements and issues • Communicate remaining degree requirements to staff, faculty, and students • Assist with degree conferral questions, diploma and transcript processing, and final degree processing • Evaluate student records and transcripts to determine transfer eligibility • Maintain and update the course equivalency database • Process transcripts and articulation through the Intelligent Capture system • Research course descriptions and college catalogs to make accurate course matches • Evaluate transfer credit including CLEP, DSST, AP, IB, military credits, ACE evaluations, CAP 8, POST, and international credential evaluations • Communicate transfer articulation procedures, policies, and program requirements with faculty, staff, students, academic departments, admissions, advising, and other institutions • Enforce University catalog policies and procedures • Process non-coursework approvals and additional requirements • Provide information on academic programs, transfer articulation, degree progress, and conferral to students and departments • Maintain student records in a document imaging system • Use Banner to facilitate communication regarding student programs, transfer work, and conferral • Perform additional duties supporting University operations and Student Services
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Direct Customer relations in post-secondary Student Services, Enrollment Services (such as: Registrar, Financial Aid, Admissions functions) • Demonstrated experience in problem solving/problem resolution • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and quantitative skills, demonstrating ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population, either online, via phone, or in person • Demonstrated success working in a high volume active environment calling for independent, proactive thinking skills, and collaborative team work • Demonstrated knowledge in federal and institutional record privacy regulations (FERPA) • Demonstrated understanding of higher education academic policy and procedure requirements, resources, and program requirements • Demonstrated ability to maintain a supportive, calm service demeanor when dealing with upset or challenging students/clients • Bachelor's Degree • University Administrative software systems in STUDENT modules (required) • Office Suite (required) • Position may require flexible hours and occasional weekend and/or evening work • Applicants are subject to a background check and criminal history review
