📋 Description

• Support delivery of evidence- and practice-based health communication technical assistance, training, and consultation activities • Assist with needs assessments and recipient engagement to identify challenges, opportunities, gaps, and technical assistance needs • Support development and implementation of communication plans, strategies, messaging, outreach materials, and public health communication activities • Develop and disseminate practical tools, resource guides, communication materials, templates, and implementation supports • Coordinate webinars, workshops, virtual trainings, meetings, peer exchanges, communities of practice, and other learning opportunities • Coordinate technical assistance consultation requests, prepare materials, document recommendations, and track follow-up activities • Review and improve communication plans, implementation plans, messaging, outreach materials, educational products, and communication resources • Contribute to website and resource-center content development and maintenance • Organize resource libraries, conduct environmental scans, and identify promising practices and evidence-based resources • Contribute to literature reviews and synthesis of public health information • Coordinate meeting logistics, scheduling, communications, materials development, note-taking, and action-item tracking • Develop reports, presentations, briefs, communication resources, implementation supports, and other written products • Collect, track, analyze, and report technical assistance, training, educational-material, and participant-satisfaction metrics • Contribute to evaluation and continuous quality-improvement activities • Ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines and deliverable requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, public policy, behavioral or social sciences, nutrition, exercise science, communications, or a related field • At least 2 years of professional experience supporting public health, health education, capacity building, training and technical assistance, community engagement, health communication, program implementation, or related activities • Experience supporting meetings, trainings, webinars, stakeholder-engagement activities, or technical assistance projects • Experience applying adult-learning principles, facilitation techniques, instructional-design approaches, health-education practices, or related methods • Experience developing tools, guidance documents, communication materials, training materials, implementation resources, or public health products • Experience supporting dissemination, knowledge sharing, resource development, or recipient engagement activities • Experience with qualitative or quantitative data collection, reporting, and evaluation activities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong technical writing and editing abilities • Experience with public health communication products, chronic disease prevention, healthy communities, nutrition, physical activity, obesity prevention, health promotion, or health equity is desired • Experience supporting federally funded projects, cooperative agreements, or recipient-support activities is desired • Experience working with state, local, tribal, territorial, nonprofit, or community-based organizations is desired • Familiarity with public health capacity-building, technical-assistance, or training approaches is desired
