📋 Description

• Teach The Long 18th-Century British Literature (ENGL 311) • Teach 19th-Century British Literature (ENGL 312) • Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed • Guide students in active collaboration and application of learning through problem- and project-based demonstrations • Provide regular constructive feedback using rubrics and acknowledge student accomplishments • Demonstrate current subject-matter expertise and connect concepts across students’ academic programs • Provide feedback to the program chair on possible curricular improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Terminal degree in English Literature, Humanities, or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning • Professional experience in ethics teaching or a related field • Experience teaching adult learners online in higher education is highly preferred • Resume/Curriculum Vitae • Cover letter highly preferred • Candidates with international degrees may be required to submit a translation/degree evaluation from a NACES approved vendor • Successful completion of the online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, as a condition of hire
