• Configure and modify in-house, vendor-hosted, cloud-based, and COTS software applications • Contribute to solution design, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and upgrades • Manage system security, user roles and permissions, application monitoring, and performance optimization • Gather and document business requirements and configure program properties to meet business needs • Perform system administration with COTS applications • Develop solutions with business stakeholders and provide technical expertise on application implementation project teams • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house applications • Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize production applications • Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of in-house and COTS applications • Provide orientation and training to end users • Coordinate with vendors to resolve problems and emergencies • Perform Tier III troubleshooting and coordinate with developers and suppliers • Support testing and end-user reviews for modified and new systems • Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners on software testing • Evaluate, install, configure, and support enterprise application deployments and enhancements • Analyze documentation and technical specifications for applications under deployment or consideration • Prepare functional development specifications and system configuration changes • Gather detailed requirements for large-scale projects and enhancements • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Provide input to BRD and functional specification documents • Provide SRD and SES documents to UAT and system test groups • Document process design, user requirements, functional/system requirements, test plans, and integration efforts • Support data migration and cutover plans • Develop written reference and support material for reporting, analytics, and decision-support solutions • Ensure the quality and accuracy of documentation from team members • Build and monitor project plans and deliver deliverables on time
• 4+ years of experience, including 3+ years of direct hands-on experience in full lifecycle implementations, deep functional configuration, and/or Tier 3 systems troubleshooting • Extensive experience with core software applications such as Desire2Learn, ServiceNow, Salesforce.com, Saba, Liferay Portal, SharePoint, WebEx, Wimba, or comparable products • Familiarity with ITIL processes • Experience generating and delivering business process definitions, gap/fit analysis, and pre-implementation workshops • Experience creating and maintaining business requirements documents, statements of work, project plans, test plans, and other project-related documents • Experience defining solution strategies, building business cases, analyzing systems requirements, developing process maps and swim lanes, designing and prototyping solutions, defining testing requirements, defining support procedures, and implementing practical solutions • Extensive software knowledge including Microsoft Word, advanced MS Excel data manipulation and formatting, and MS Access • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate ideas in technical and user-friendly language • Keen attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and manage competing information • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Strong analysis and decision-making skills in an application development/ERP implementation environment • Ability to work independently, manage workload, and report project status • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Cover letter and resume required
