📋 Description

• Evaluate traditional and non-traditional transfer credit to maximize applicable transfer credit • Ensure accuracy of students’ program and plan information and course-credit applicability • Ensure coursework is accurately placed on students’ academic advisement reports • Help students understand degree requirements and time to graduation • Provide courteous, professional customer service to students and internal staff • Respond to student and advisor questions about transfer credit and academic advisement within department SLA deadlines • Collaborate with advising units to resolve questions and ensure learner needs are met • Analyze transfer-credit scenarios for patterns, issues, and opportunities • Collaborate with evaluation staff to assess coursework transferability and reach consensus • Recommend additional data or process improvements to better serve students

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a registrar’s office, academic records, graduation services, degree audit, transfer credit, academic advising, admissions operations, or closely related higher education student services • Experience reviewing and interpreting student academic records, including transcripts, transfer credit, test credit, course substitutions, waivers, repeated coursework, academic standing, catalog year requirements, and program/plan requirements • Experience conducting degree audits, graduation reviews, or academic progress evaluations • Ability to determine whether students have satisfied institutional, program, general education, residency, credit, GPA, and graduation requirements • Entry-level expertise in change management, diversity and inclusion, holistic and systems thinking, institutional and external data interpretation and application, leadership and management, and technical knowledge • Intermediate competence in collaborative decision-making, problem-solving, professional integrity, and communication • Ability to resolve student and customer questions accurately and professionally • Outstanding accuracy when working with detailed information from varied sources • Ability to organize and prioritize administrative tasks and meet service-level agreements • Effective communication with internal and external customers via phone, email, chat, and other methods • Ability to switch between detail-oriented and service-oriented work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Cover letter and resume required
