📋 Description

• Handle incoming phone calls from patients, families, and referring providers to schedule patient appointments • Schedule appointments across multiple providers, clinics, departments, practices, and campuses • Make outbound calls to schedule appointments with specialists and subspecialists • Collect and update patient demographics, insurance information, and account guarantor details • Process corrections to patient insurance and demographic information • Collect patient liabilities before or on the date of service, as appropriate • Secure medical records from outside healthcare organizations based on appointment visit type • Schedule in-office procedures and the rooms where procedures will take place

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • English speaking, reading and writing skills • Strong intrapersonal and communication skills • Monday through Friday, 9:00-5:30 day shift • 40 hours per week • Associate’s degree in business or healthcare-related field (preferred) • Previous scheduling and/or phone customer services experience (preferred) • Previous experience in a health care organization (preferred) • Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing skills (preferred)
