📋 Description

• Handle incoming phone calls from patients, families, and referring providers to schedule appointments • Schedule appointments across multiple providers, clinics, departments, practices, and campuses • Make outbound calls to schedule appointments with specialists and subspecialists • Collect patient demographics, insurance information, and account guarantor details • Process updates and corrections to patient insurance and demographic information • Collect patient liabilities before or on the date of service, as appropriate • Secure medical records from outside healthcare organizations • Schedule in-office procedures and the rooms where procedures will take place • Provide exceptional patient service and facilitate access to appropriate care

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • English speaking, reading and writing skills • Strong intrapersonal and communication skills • Previous scheduling and/or phone customer services experience preferred • Previous experience in a health care organization preferred • Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing skills preferred • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted unless certification, licensure or registration is required
