📋 Description

• Support prospective and current applicants in UMPI’s YourPace competency-based education programs • Guide applicants through admission requirements • Review application materials and academic credentials • Support foreign credential evaluation and English proficiency requirements • Process application documentation • Collaborate with university departments to provide a seamless experience from application through enrollment • Work remotely during periods of inclement weather and/or campus emergencies as an essential position • Adjust work schedule during admissions-cycle periods as discussed with and approved by the Vice President of Enrollment Services

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree and at least two years of higher education experience in admissions, student advising, enrollment services, or a related area • Experience working with adult learners, competency-based education, or international students • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to provide effective and culturally responsive service to a diverse student population • Working knowledge of international admissions processes, foreign educational credentials, and English language proficiency requirements • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently • Experience working in multiple technology platforms simultaneously • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, Zoom, and related communication technologies • Stable, reliable internet connection with speeds of at least 25 Mbps; mobile hotspots are not acceptable • Dedicated, distraction-free workspace supporting privacy, confidentiality under University policy and FERPA regulations, and required workstation equipment • Ability to complete an annual Remote Work Agreement Form • Applicants must submit a cover letter and resume • Finalist candidates must provide professional references • Selected candidate must pass a background check • Applicants must not require visa sponsorship
